Ransomes Trolley Buses
A study of single and double decker trolley buses, constructed by Ransomes, Sims and Jefferies of Ipswich.
Overview
Spanish intertitles demonstrate the international ambition that Ransomes, Sims and Jefferies had with their new modern and sleek trolleybuses for the 1930s. Filmed in 1928, we see some examples new to Maidstone put through their paces on everyday service. Move over electric trams, the age of the trolleybus is coming!
