Three loyal labradors - Brandy, Biscuit and Bran – are solid members of the dog fraternity that is part of life at ‘Plas Newydd’.

Overview
Brandy, Biscuit and Bran are three loyal labradors that feature in this film of life at 'Plas Newydd', home of the 6th Marquis of Anglesey. A pug dog, its head tied up in a scarf, also features as does a playful puppy. They are the well-loved, four-legged companions of the family who are seen in and around their salt-water swimming pool and out in a rowing boat. The youngest members, the Marquis’s twins Henry and Katherine, toddle about the lawn, amongst the daisies.
This is one of a number of home movies shot by the 6th Marquis (and his daughter Caroline) and it shows him playing golf and standing in a rowing boat with his trousers rolled up; his elegant wife [Lady Marjorie nee Manners] being almost thrown – in fun - over the swimming pool wall by a relative, Pauline Stapleton-Cotton; his wife’s sister, Lady Diana Cooper (the woman wearing a dark mushroom-style hat?) and brother, the 9th Duke of Rutland (sitting wearing a hat in the rowing boat with the Marquis’s daughter Elizabeth), and his twins with their nannies. The estate’s Head Keeper, Mr Sargent, is seen with the labradors.
