Victors of the 'Cup'
A jubilant crowd line the streets outside Sheffield Town Hall to greet Sheffield United after their 1925 FA Cup final victory.
Overview
After their thrilling win against Cardiff in the 1925 FA Cup final, Sheffield United returned home to a hero's welcome. The Topical Budget cameraman had secured an excellent vantage point in front of the town hall, allowing him an uninterrupted view of the good citizens of Sheffield (or at least the 'united' part) as they lined the streets to get a glimpse of and cheer the homecoming winners. As they showed off the cup from the town hall balcony they were flanked by the Lord Mayor and other dignitaries.
