Boulter Family Films: Bridesmaids In Pink, Stratford (1963)
Shocking pink outfits, impressive cake and a gargantuan veil feature in this brief home move shot at this wedding somewhere in East London
Amateur film 1963 2 mins Silent
From the collection of:
Taken from the Boulter Family Films archive sometime in the early 60s, it’s not entirely clear where this wedding scene took place – but the brief appearance in the background of a London bus, with Stratford on the rear, suggests it’s somewhere in East London. Good for fashion spotting, the film features bridesmaids in shocking pink, the bride’s humungous veil, a grand cake and some very happy relatives at a bus stop.
