Gertrude Lawrence, Sebastian Shaw, Miriam Hopkins and Rex Harrison star in this romantic melodrama which derives its title from Othello Act III Scene 4. Although the story of the film doesn’t reflect the play too much, Shakespeare enthusiasts will be intrigued to see its generous excerpts from what was presumably a typical 1930s stage production.
