The East Anglian Film Archive, the first and largest Regional Film Archive in England, was established in 1976. Since 1984, EAFA has been owned and operated by the University of East Anglia, Norwich (UEA), to support research and work to preserve our moving image heritage. More than 250 hours are freely available online as examples of the wide range of film which attracts interest the world over.

Amateur filmmaker F.J. Douglas has captured all the notable sights on his tour of Welwyn Garden City. With few cars on the roads and blossomed trees lining the streets, wide and open lawns and community areas of lush greenery, the townscape of Welwyn Garden City is beguiling. By no means a conventional travel documentary, the film covers most parts of Welwyn Garden City, including aerial views. Scenes include the Campus, Parkway, Bridge road, Pentley park and many more.
