Overview
Day-trippers flock to Windsor in this film from the late 1950s. After watching Grenadiers on guard we move to various points in the town where historic buildings like the Guildhall and the Theatre Royal can be seen. Then it's down to the river to view a variety of boats and pleasure craft. Amongst these scenes are shots of shipping on the Solent, including ocean-going liners heading for or leaving Southampton. Finally, it's back to the river at Windsor and then on to Bray Lock.
