Welsh Wanderers Return
Welsh-Americans return to the land of their fathers, arriving at Holyhead on Anglesey
Overview
Croeso y Cymru! This celebratory Topical Budget newsreel sees Welsh-Americans arriving at Holyhead, Anglesey, just in time for the national Eisteddfod, having made the pilgrimage from New York on the Cunard liner Scythia. On deck spirits are high as Cunard representative RM Maddocks - a member of the Gorsedd Bards, the association of distinguished Welsh artists - presents a Welsh flag to chairman of the Eisteddfod committee Dr Morrice.
