Overview
Furs, corsage and updos all feature in this wonderful amateur colour film of Wanstead and Woodford Cine Club's annual black tie event. Guests are formally greeted by the society president Sydney Martin and his lady before engaging in animated conversation at the dinner table. After the meal they head for the dancefloor and we are treated to a range of dancing styles from ballroom to a very lively jive. The merrymaking ends with everyone joining hands for Auld Lang Syne.
