Rover Makes Good
A rascally sheepdog redeems himself when he goes to the rescue of two children trapped in an old Cornish tin mine
Overview
On holiday in Cornwall, youngsters Sheila and Tony find themselves in unexpected danger when they get trapped in an old, disused tin mine, in this vintage drama for kids. Luckily, rascally sheepdog Rover – though considered useless by their uncle, a farmer - is on hand to go to their rescue.
This early film from the Children’s Film Foundation was shot around Callington in picturesque 1950s Cornwall.
