Overview
Sparks fly in Hugh Hudson’s visual masterpiece for Fiat. The automated construction of Fiat Strada cars had caused a strike in the Fiat factory – perfect timing for the filming of this classic advert where only robots are featured dancing to the music of Figaro. The completed cars are driven round an oval test track and then onto a moving car transporter: a choreographed performance and a visual delight much loved even today.
