Overview

Welwyn Stores was an iconic venue for Welwyn Garden City; a one-stop-shop for Garden Citizens, and for some 'THE place to be seen'. With shovelling and levelling, banging and mixing, and carrying to-and-fro, here, the workers graft together to construct the building; a real team effort with skill and hands-on labour - but not without smiles for the camera.
