Overview
Set in 14th Century, in the days of the Holy Roman Empire, the once peaceful country of Switzerland is invaded by the ruthless neighbouring Austrian Empire. Amidst the turmoil, peaceful huntsman William Tell (Claes Bang), is thrust into the heart of the resistance after the cruel Austrian Viceroy Gessler orders him to shoot an apple from his son's head for refusing to bend the knee.
Starring a terrific Claes Bang in the lead role and a strong supporting cast, including Ben Kingsley, Golshifteh Farahani and Jonathan Pryce, director Nick Hamm offers up a gripping retelling of a timeless legend packed with stunning, epic battle sequences.
