With a fist full of credit cards and a lucky run at the track, Franco Stevens launched best-selling lesbian lifestyle magazine, Curve. Decades later the magazine is in crisis, as her legacy faces extinction and she reassesses life after a disabling injury, Stevens sets out in a deeply personal bid to understand the relevance of her magazine for today’s lesbian community.

Featuring interviews with a host of young queer people leading today’s intersectional work, including educator Kim Katrin, slam poet Denice Frohman, and cultural leader Amber Hikes, this uplifting documentary charts the struggles and achievements of one of the most influential women in lesbian history who most people have never heard of.
