The Cycle of Love

Oscar-winning director Orlando von Einsiedel (The White Helmets) films the incredible true story of a man who cycled 6,000km for love and destiny.

A horoscope given to him when he was a baby prompts an impoverished "untouchable" Delhi street artist to cycle 6,000km from India to Sweden in treacherous conditions in search of love. PK and Lotta's story is one that feels stranger than fiction but is so exhilarating and uplifting to watch and surely a tonic for these times.

A former professional snowboarder, director Von Einsiedel got into filmmaking through his snowboarding videos. His first feature documentary, Virunga (2014), was nominated for both an Academy Award and a BAFTA and his 2016 film The White Helmets won Best Documentary Short at the Academy Awards.
