Untitled Film
Slow motion black and white experimental short film in which a series of concurrent actions and movements are drawn together.
Director: David Gladwell
Overview
An extraordinary piece of film art, exploring power, beauty, and violence contained in a single moment of time, David Gladwell's An Untitled Film (1964) presents a series of concurrent actions and movements drawn from the life of a farm. The sequences are captured in slow-motion and repeated over and over to the accompaniment of Ernest Berk's abrasive electronic score.
This title is also available on the DVD/Blu-ray 'Requiem for a Village' in the BFI Flipside collection.
