Chocolate buttons and Donald Duck for baby’s first Christmas, then a summer trip to Canterbury from the mid-1970s.

The focus of this film is baby Karen, who is filmed celebrating her first Christmas in Epsom opening presents with mother Daisy Watts, and then on a trip to Canterbury to see the cathedral, eat chocolate and meet family friends. It is interspersed with film from the garden in Epsom, where grandparents watch Karen try on rubber gardening gloves, as well as shots of her in a baby bouncer and playpen.
