L for Logic
Remember your driving test? Step back into the 70s brogues of this young learner and see how much you recall
Overview
How many long term drivers would pass a driving test retake today? Driving lessons are not just about road skills, but also learning how to pass the test. This film sets out to demystify the experience and explain the logic behind the test process. We see a young driver take his test in the North West London suburbs, as well as an older driver's continued reliance on the same techniques – and what happens when they are forgotten.
This government film is a public record, preserved and presented by the BFI National Archive on behalf of The National Archives, home to more than 1,000 years of British history.
