Gloucester Football Hypnotist
Southern League football team Gloucester City call in famed hypnotist Henry Blythe to take them to a higher plane.
From the collection of:
Overview
Henry Blythe was known for a series of LP and 78rpm vinyl releases in which he used hypnosis to aid slimming and quit smoking. He'd also dabbled in past-life regression, so was perfectly qualified to do a bit of motivational hypnosis for Gloucester's footballers. Many football fans over the years have claimed that their team played as if in a trance but for Gloucester's fans in 1959 this might actually have been true.
