Overview

A boxer born and raised in Camborne, Cornwall discusses the need to move to London in order to pursue his boxing career. As a member of the Bristol Sports Club and Western Counties ABA he has previously been discouraged from fighting in an Amateur versus Professional boxing match, the rules have now been restricted and his manager is trying to get the message across that amateur and professional boxers can work together.

Bristol Sports' Club was formed in 1967 by Bristol business men interested in amateur boxing, the club raises funding for the training and equipment needed by smaller local boxing clubs. The Western Counties’ Amateur Boxing Association oversees matches held in the South West and sets the precedent for the rules of boxing.
