Overview
Heavy April showers didn't dampen the spirits of the 72,000-strong crowd at Stamford Bridge for the 1921 FA Cup Final - though for the players the boggy pitch proved a challenge in the first half. The Wolves' goalie, Noel George, valiantly defends his goal until a shot from Spurs' Jimmy Dimmock gets through and seals a victory. An unrestrained crowd clamour to see King George V present the cup to the victors.
