Afternoon Tea al Fresco

An overeager guest disrupts teatime in this enigmatic slice of Victorian drama.

This enigmatic piece of film contains a staged scene in which tea is interrupted by a very hands-on guest. What starts out simply enough as a small family gathering is disrupted by the arrival of a young man intent on shaking hands with everyone, helping himself, and adjusting the maid’s wardrobe. Unfortunately, the film stops just as the older gentleman begins to lose his temper and it seems that the unwanted guest will get his comeuppance.
