The head of the colonial procession and the Horse Guards approach Westminster Bridge during Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee.
These two films show the head of the colonial procession as well as the Horse Guards. It appears that they were edited together from films originally produced by RW Paul, finding their way to the BFI National Archive in 1956. This shows that despite Paul’s complaint that the Jubilee films were not as financially successful as he wished, they nevertheless enjoyed wide distribution and varied afterlives.
