A behind-the-scenes look at how the village of Cuckfield celebrated Elizabeth II's Silver Jubilee in 1977. When the big day arrives we see, amongst other events, a medieval pageant, a fairground organ and various silly races while in the evening we have a 1940s themed band and dancing. The celebrations end with a bonfire and a salute to the Queen.
