Harry Wallace, a student at Northumbria university, explains why Sean Baker's LA-set comedy-drama, about a transgender sex worker on the hunt for her cheating -ex, is worth your time. 

Tangerine, which was shot entirely on the iPhone 5S, stars first time actor Kitana Kiki Rodriguez and Mya Taylor as Sin-Dee Rella and Alexandra. The film, which was a mainstay on the 2015 awards circuit, resulted in the first ever Oscar campaign for openly transgender acting talent.
