Overview
With warnings of God's impending judgement and the sale of 'Corn Cure' foot remedy, this film is perhaps more interesting in its portrait of East Street Market than than for it's archetypal tale of morality. Produced by amateur filmmaker Fred Platell and members of the Sutton and District Cine Society, this film immerses us in the Walworth market, providing a snapshot of a site which has been trading for nearly 400 years.
