Our hero Dr Petrie is caught by evil Fu-Manchu and imprisoned near the British Museum, where he risks a daring escape, high above the London streets

While sleuth Nayland Smith visits the British Museum, Dr Petrie is captured by the evil Dr Fu-Manchu in a Museum Street antique shop. The Devil Doctor reveals a plan to smuggle Petrie into China, to join Fu-Manchu’s growing band of shackled scientist slave workers. But with the help of his beloved Karamaneh, Petrie takes a chance on a vertiginous aerial escape...
