Take your seats please, the performance is about to begin. Sadly all we get to see is the arrival of their Majesties Queen Mary and Queen Alexandra at the entrance of Drury Lane Theatre. What they saw that afternoon included a recital by Sarah Bernhardt, comedy by George Robey, scenes from DW Griffith's The Birth of a Nation, and a new piece by JM Barrie called Shakespeare’s Legacy to mark the bard's tercentenary.
