Three Counties Show Leominster 1950
Leominster gears itself up for one of the biggest days in the agricultural calendar: the visit of the Three Counties Show.

Overview
The Three Counties Show was once an itinerant festival moving around Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire. In 1950 it was the turn of Leominster to play host. The streets are decorated to welcome visitors from around the world (even the Clifton Cinema gets in on the act with flags and bunting). At the show we see everything from cattle feed to tractors, from the latest in rotovator technology to a daredevil motorcycle display from the Royal Signals.
The Three Counties Show moved to a permanent home at Malvern in 1958.
