Overview
Former Bristol Poet Laureate, Miles Chambers reads a poem specially commissioned for the 75th anniversary of the NHS. Delivered on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival on Saturday 24 June 2023, Miles is joined on stage by Glastonbury GP Rebecca Hall, physiotherapist Ben Matthews and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust children’s nurse Angela Reece, to perform the poem.
The performance features clips from archival NHS films which are preserved by the BFI National Archive and are available to view in our NHS on Film collection.
