Royalty
Gripping drama about the tough life of teenage prostitute Kelly and the nightly risks she takes to make ends meet.
Overview
On the cold streets of London, the kings and queens of the red light district play out their tawdry night games. Teenage prostitute Kelly hustles for food, drugs and to keep her brutal pimp Derek (Johnny Harris) off her back. Shot among the gritty nightlife of pre-gentrification King’s Cross, Royalty captures the constant drama and relentless anxiety of life on the streets. Written and directed by Paul Andrew Williams, the film was later expanded for his acclaimed feature debut, London to Brighton.
