The Prince and Princess of Wales open Rhyl's Royal Alexandra Hospital.
Overview
In 1903 the Prince and Princess of Wales embarked on a tour of North Wales, stopping at Rhyl to open the town's Royal Alexandra Hospital. The event was filmed by local cinematographer Arthur Cheetham for Mitchell and Kenyon, and shows carriages in procession, cheering crowds, decorated streets and visiting firemen marching back to the railway station after lining the route to the hospital.
