Overview

John McCallum's illuminating film starts with views of Dover Harbour and the Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club's premises. Cadets and sailors carry boats and racing dinghies to the water edge and the sailng begins. Various classes of sailboat are seen racing in the harbour while ferries come and go in the distance. Atop the cliffs there is a chance to see four of the wartime Chain Home Link radar towers. After a long day of sailing the wind dies down and the boats all return to shore.
