Grandma Threading Her Needle
Granny's eyesight may be failing, but she won't rest until she has threaded her needle, and given us a giggle too
Overview
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, again... The supposedly simple act of threading a needle is rendered ridiculous by actor Tom Green, wearing drag in this micro-skit. There's little or nothing to the story, but the point of this short film, by British pioneer GA Smith, is to exploit the new medium for its potential to show changing facial expressions. Green contorts his face into ludicrous grimaces as he squints - and when the needle is finally threaded, 'Grandma' beams with joy!
