Overview
A kaleidoscope of local colour, the footage of the 1965 Edmonton Carnival gives off a strong community vibe with jubilant crowds, local street scenes, and even a short snippet of the filmmaker's family enjoying the spectacle. Various elaborate floats brimming with colour are interspersed with dolled up carnival queens from far and wide, waving happily from vintage cars. The fun-filled day comes to a close with kids making the most of attractions and jam-packed rides.
