England thrash Australia in the fifth Test at the Oval - but still lose the Ashes.

Overview

It's a lovely summer's day at the Oval and the England cricket team take on the Aussies. The Australians' win in the previous Test meant they retained the Ashes, but England was to restore some pride here. From his pitch side position the amateur cameraman had a great view of proceedings, including Len Hutton doing some batting warm-up, and Don Bradman being carried off after fracturing his ankle during a rare bowling spell. With Bradman out, England went on to post the biggest ever win margin in a Test, an innings and 579 runs, with Hutton scoring a new record of 364.
