Overview

This unusual short film, a Tatler News Theatre production, is a tribute to Sir Thomas White, leader of the Liverpool Unionists and chairman of the Mersey Tunnel Joint Committee. At the dockside on a chill January day, local people pay their last respects, as do mourners on the boat carrying his coffin to its final resting place, and those attending the memorial service at Liverpool Cathedral.
