This remarkable film shows a Temperance Movement demonstration on Brighton's seafront. Led by Sergeant Lacey, on horseback, we see a parade of boys and girls bearing garlands, replica weapons and waving flags as they march past the camera. A decorated 'Garden of Temperance' display is also carried by the children. Various banners with temperance slogans are borne by the children as they wait for the march to begin.
