Overview
Follow the progress of the Orpington Scouts' car 'Pathfinder III'. From set-up and sandwiches in the pits, inspection by white-coated officials to peddling like mad over the finish line and the cheers of the enthusiastic crowd. The day closes with a slower paced procession of the cars and a prize-giving. And while the team may not go home with a prize, it's the taking part that counts.
This film is from the collection of Bromley Local Studies & Archives, a member of the London's Screen Archives Network.
