Overview
While unusually truthful and credible in dealing with experiences common to a great many gay men, Andrew Haigh's chronicle of a weekend in the lives of two men who find themselves waking up together one Saturday morning is also notable for its gentle romanticism. The film succeeds thanks to its sharp and unsentimental sense of detail, partly due to the charm of the two lead performances.
