Catch the Fair One
Haunted by the disappearance of her younger sister two years prior, a former champion boxer leaves no stone unturned in her brutal search for answers.
Director: Josef Kubota Wladyka
Overview
In her debut film role, real-life champion pro boxer Kali Reis stars as Kaylee, the former fighter in pursuit of her kidnapped, trafficked younger sister. Every lead brings hope and risk, so Kaylee decides to pose as a victim and track her down from the inside. This brutal, propulsive thriller takes that theme and shapes it into something great, exploring the darkest depths of human trafficking and the plight of disappearing indigenous women. Executive Produced by Darren Aronofsky, the film puts this vital issue to task in a no-holds-barred thriller, but it's Reis who is the talent to watch; her physical presence and steely spirit never out of frame.
