Overview

Late one night, alone in her bedroom, teenager Casey (Anna Cobb) stares into her webcam and repeats "I want to go to the world's fair" while pricking her finger until it bleeds. She is entering an online role-playing horror game, and soon feels the challenge is impacting her physically in real life. A Sundance sensation destined to be a cult classic, Jane Schoenbrun's remarkable, low budget debut feature takes us on a dark, haunting, creepy pasta-esque trip while poetically capturing the disconcerting and profoundly lonely experience of being a young person on the internet.
