Overview
Shelley (Pamela Anderson), a dedicated and traditional Las Vegas showgirl is devastated when her long-running feathers and crystal–adorned show is set to close. While she attempts to work out what is next, she decides to repair her complicated relationship with her daughter (Billie Lourd). Gia Coppola’s (Palo Alto) intimate and poignant portrait of a woman contemplating her future is delicately shot on 16mm film, and her camera stays loose and close, giving a sense of rawness, verité and a dreamy nostalgia.
Though she is surrounded by an outstanding ensemble cast including Jamie Lee Curtis, Dave Bautista, Brenda Song and Billie Lourd, it is the Golden Globe-nominated Pamela Anderson who powers this film. She will steal your heart with her vulnerable and stunning performance.
