Overview
During his frequent business trips to Berlin, Oren begins a passionate, loving affair with Thomas, a German Baker. When Oren’s regular visits abruptly cease, Thomas’ life is thrown into turmoil. His world collapses when he discovers that Oren has died in a car accident. In search of answers about the life and death of his lover, Thomas moves to Jerusalem, leaving his life in Berlin behind. Concealing his past relationship with Oren, Thomas finds his way into the life of Anat – Oren’s recently widowed wife.
Thomas begins to work in Anat’s Kosher café in orthodox downtown Jerusalem. His popular German cakes and cookies soon breathe a new life into her business. Eventually Thomas finds himself involved in Anat’s life in a way that he could never have imagined, how far is he prepared to go in his lie in order to protect the truth?
