One of Scorsese's underseen gems, a word processor has a wild night after agreeing to meet a girl at a coffee shop.

Paul (Griffin Dunne) meets Mercy (Rosanna Arquette) at a coffee bar, where they chat and exchange numbers. Their date seems as normal as any in New York, but their night soon takes a number of bizarre twists and turns. Martin Scorsese directs this cult classic that brings a bitingly ironic edge to its humour.
