Holkham and Blakeney from the Air

Aerial views of Holkham Hall Estate and Blakeney Nature Reserve in 1977, offering a unique perspective of the North Norfolk coastline.

This footage consists of aerial views over North Norfolk recorded in 1977, an unusual perspective for an amateur filmmaker to capture. The film shows the lush greens of the Holkham Hall Estate parkland, some 25,000 acres, with the 18th century country house as the centrepiece, then moving further out, with views of the golden sands of the coastline – Holkham beach and the Blakeney National Nature Reserve.
