LMS at Work in the Telugu Field of South India. Cuddapah.
A day in the life of a Kadapa missionary school.
Overview
This attractively photographed film takes the classic form of a 'day in the life' of a vocational middle school run by the London Missionary Society in what is today Kadapa (formerly Cuddapah) in Andhra Pradesh. It's one of a collection of around 70 LMS films filmed in various parts of the world. They were effectively amateur productions (in this case filmed by clergyman Wilfrid Le Cato Edwards), but screened to interested audiences for informative purposes.
LMS at Work in the Tamil Field of South India, shot around the same time, is also available on BFI Player.
