Bridge across the Humber
Just how was the legendary bridge built? This film has the answers.
Overview
How was the legendary Humber Bridge built? This film has the answers. A ‘commemorative coverage’ film, it was shot during several stages of construction then released the year after the opening of what was then the largest bridge of its kind in the world. John Byrd Film Productions specialised in relatively low budget but detailed industrial films with an engineering focus, aimed mainly at specialist professional (and overwhelmingly male) audiences.
