Overview

This film shows a 'mystery ramble' taken as part of Social Sciences lessons for the boys of Westcotes School in Leicester in March 1953. Down lane and over field they go discovering the ancient hill fort at Burrough on the Hill and the historic St Andrews church at Burton Overy on their way. A visit to Brooksby Hall, the local farm institute where they learn about everything rural from pigs to water divining, completes the expedition.
