The wetlands of East Anglia known as “The Fens” are a perfect peat-forming habitat. Harold Sennit, the self-proclaimed “fen tiger”, the “last of the peat diggers” demonstrates the traditions and techniques of peat extraction, at Wicken Fen, now one of Britain’s oldest nature reserves.
